To call Nytath Thalor breath-taking is to under sell it. Three quarters of the city hangs out over the ocean, with elegant metal arches diving into the water, supporting the wide streets and circular platforms the buildings sit on. The architecture is full of curves and arches, typical Elven form language, but executed in the most subtle ways.
The centeral veature of Nytath Thalor is it's Docks; they form a perfect half circle, at the dead center of the city. Hundreds of ships of all sizes enter the artificial bay created by the docks, and cargo and people flow in and out like a delicate dance that never stops.
To the north, the entrance to the Thylelune river has it's own miniature version of the dock, with river boats unloading and loading cargo with equal vigor. A central avenue from the river to the ocean allows for good to move from one to the other unimpeded, at an impressive rate.
