Rima has a long history of being seen as the "agressive" kingdom. They were the first kingdom to wage war (though, they argue they were not 'waging war', they were sending out hunting parties looking for food), and as such are one of the least trusted kingdoms still. However, it's also one of the only places to get processed metals, so trade with Rima is considered a necessity for most other kingdoms.
Rima is a very mountainous, northern land. It is covered in dense forests with a short growing season and harsh, bitter winters. That isn't to say it's inhospitable; the land is considered some of the most beautiful in all the five kingdoms, and it is also home to dozens of beautiful mountain lakes sought after as vacation spots for those wealthy enough to make the journey (and pay the Rimean asking fee).
The capital city, Thurn Darul, is famous for it's Great Hall with it's hundred foot high pillars. The entire thing is carved directly out of the original mountain stone, as a single piece. Only the chairs and some minor decorations are even movable. The Hall can seat over a hundred people at the table and is a favored location of visiting dignitaries.
The city of Dhun Darim is the current seat of the High Chieftan, leader of the Council of Chieftans. It is on the edge of a mountain lake, near the border of Rima and Kelir.
Rima has been at the center of every major conflict between the Kingdoms. But despite that, it's also a very important manufacturing hub for the other kingdoms. They are considered a necessary partner, if not a trusted one, and they are fine with that.
Rima has the longest unbroken Royal line of any of the Kingdoms. While the crown hasn't always passed from parent to child, the royal family has always been large enough that there's never been a need to go beyond neice or nephew.
What makes Rima unique is the relationship the crown has with the Orc Chieftans. Technicaly, the Orc nation is it's own sovereign entity, even though in practice that is no longer true. Each Orc city and the surrounding lands is governed by a Chieftan, and all Cheiftans are members of The Council of Chieftans. One of their ranks is picked to be High Cheiftan, and they rule for life, or they give up the honor.
The Chieftans and the Crown have always had a cordial relationship, with the Dwarves knowing that they need to Orcs much more than the Orcs need them. The Dwarves are too naturally isolationist; inside their halls, they will cut themselves off from the rest of the world if left to their own devices. The Orcs, while also isolationist, live on the surface, and must interact with others to survive. Because of this, the Orcs much more than the Dwarves are the "face" of Rima.
Rima's current queen, Queen Runur, is famous for being the Rimean queen to start the last war. Not only is she notable for those events, but she has never married, and while she is still young enough to have an heir, her complete lack of interest or concern for ensuring her line continues has developed into it's own legend.
Chieftan Imra is the current High Chieftan of the Orcs, and also the Consort of Queen Ratha, aligning the Orcs with Kelir for the first time in their history.
